Good to see the Snout-in-Trough brigade getting their just desserts! I always found it morally offensive that they wanted (expected) a percentage of my assets up front, which they’d had no part in creating, for so-called advice. The government encouraged us to save for our old age then left us at the mercy of the self-interested financial planning industry whose motto is obviously, “All Care. No Responsibility”. I’ve done far better without them.
